FAQs

Please read through the FAQ's, if you have any questions please email us

What does the session entail?

Skate school holiday sessions are all about having fun on wheels and developing confidence on skates. We play a variety of skating games like roller limbo, red light, green light and cone tag. We also teach independent skating and safety at the rink eg. how to get back up safely, how to stop properly and a few skills like the 'teapot'.

What to bring?

If you do not have your own skates we can provide some for you at no extra cost. If you do have your own, please bring them along. If you have inlines, you are welcome to skate in these, however please be aware that some of the skills will be more difficult on these types of skates.

A water bottle - with a secure lid.

If needed, a small snack.

What to wear?

If you are a complete beginner, we suggest you wear leggings/trousers that covers your legs completely. Make sure you have long socks on, no ankle socks.

Protective gear - this is not necessary in these classes. We are professional skating coaches and will not get the skaters doing any skills outside of their skill level. If you would like to wear protective gear, this is completely fine, however we do not provide this so please bring your own.

Do parents stay?

Parents drop off. Please come back 10 mins before the session ends so the skaters can show you what they have learned :)
